    Keep on the Shadowfell (4e)

I've created a MOD from the Keep on the Shadowfell adventure and figured post a link here in case anyone else might find it useful. I'm working on the other adventures (Kobold Hall, Thunderspire Labyrinth, etc) as well. I wasn't sure which forum to post them but since they are 4e I figured probably here. let me know if there are any issues with the MOD.

[MODERATOR: Link removed - please only share material that can be legally shared.]

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forums!

I'm sorry that the first thing anyone does is to remove your cool modules. We don't allow any sharing of copyright protected material on these forums. Sorry, but we're very pro-active in removing material that violates copyright. It's great that you're willing to share your hard work with the community, but please keep it to OGL/SRD, community commons, or material you have permission of the copyright holder to distribute. Thanks.

Sorry, sorry! I didn't even think about that! A very good point.

Just curious, this content is freely available from WIZARDS website. How is this a violation?

This is a common misconception in Internet land - Free does not suddenly remove copyright restrictions.

See page 2 in that PDF: "This material is protected under the copyright laws of the United States of America. Any reproduction or unauthorized use of the material or artwork contained herein is prohibited without the express written permission of Wizards of the Coast LLC."

ah, thank you. So just to understand the copyright covers the module content and original presentation. so if a parser from pdf to .mod was created it would be ok to share as it does not share the copyrighted content?

Correct, it would be OK to share a parser that doesn't contain any copyright information. Like this parser, for example: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...4E-Item-Parser
