Question on Calendars
Hey folks — Like most people who use the same setting for a long time, I have a custom calendar. I can't seem to find any documentation on how to open up already-packed module files so I can examine them, nor what format to write the modules in, nor exactly how to approach making a module file that's not an adventure module.
Any help would be appreciated!

Rename the calendars.mod file to calendars.zip. Unzip the file, you'll have a definition.xml and db.xml file. Open up the db.xml file (use a text editor like Notepad++: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/) and check through the format of the calendars - there are specific sections for each calendar <gregorian>, <greyhawk>, <forgottenrealms>, etc.. The sections are fairly well labeled and you can check the gregorian section to see how it is used. If you need more info on modules the "Module Making Manual" available in the wiki gives a lot of information: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/...veloper_Guides
Then, copy/paste and modify for your own needs.

There are some limitations in terms of the periods that it accepts. They have been discussed in other threads regarding calendar creation - sorry, I don't have time to search for them.Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. You might find this useful https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...endar-Tutorial
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php
