Roll Within a table

I'm building a table for random encounters and wanted to add a dice roll to one of the table fields. For example a d20 roll on the table. on a 5 I'd like the result to be 1d8 goblins.

Will I just have to roll a 1d8 after the table or can that be automated? I saw a post reference putting [1d8], for example, in the table. If that works then that solves part of it.
