Player cant connect to me (DM) but can connect to other server

Taking down windows firewall completely on my end didnt work

Nah, your windows firewall won't affect this.

It's weird, because you're both on Comcast, and both in Illinois, right? Has this player ever been able to connect to your FG? Are the other players who can connect on Comcast, and in Illinois?

Yeah both in IL, like 10 miles away. And yes one of the other players who can connect is also in IL in the same distance range via comcast (very similar tracert). This is the first time I am attempting to host/DM, but we have been in the same FG game before (hosted by one of the players who is able to connect and lives in IL as well)

Very weird.

One thing to try - just in case (this has been known to fix a whole range of routing issues)... Ask the player to reboot their router, then try to connect. Then you do the same (reboot your router), and see if they can connect. If that doesn't help, then it may be that you'll have to do something like @damned mentioned - setup Hamachi (or something similar) just for this one player to use to connect.

Hes already reset his router but ill reset mine and let it go overnight to hopefully get a new external IP and see if that works.

Whelp I feel dumb, just reset my router/modem and that fixed it. Strange that everyone else was able to connect though.
