Hey folks, question, how would you set up a bonus to AC vs critical hit confirmations as an effect? I'm a tad bit confuzzled. Assuming it's even possible that is.

You can't adjust the AC just for crit confirmation rolls. All you can do is modify the confirmation roll itself with the CC effect.

But then the malus of -2 is always applied to the critical confirmation roles and so you would have to turn it manually off/on every time on all attackers. It may be better to give the one person who has this AC bonus the informational effect "CritAC" (which is only informational so far) and then you give everyone else the effect "IFT: CUSTOM(CritAC); CC: -2"

Then this malus is only applied to that one target

When there are several opponents/players with different CritAC boni (or is it bonusses as plural in English? I took the Latin plural now ^^) then I do not see any other way then turning the effect manually on and off

Just one further idea (I have to rephrase my last answer): When there are different CritACs in one fight then you can still use the CUSTOM effect/trick by introducing a different label for each bonus, like CritAC2 for CC: -2 and so on

But then you get a lot of effects

But such AC boni are not that often so that might not arise too often
