Unable to read elements

Hello. New Mac user here, and I am having trouble getting my first FG update to work on High Sierra.
When I start up FG I get the Update Available red button bottom left, but when I click it I get "Unable to update at least one product.Please contact Fantasy Grounds support."
If I then hit the middle "Update" button in this updater window, I get an error box that says "ProcessProductXML
PRODUCT LISTING
Failed to read Element name"

I have redownloaded the install with same results.
