    The old saying for me (when I was in sales), it takes 7 happy customers to equal 1 unhappy customer. Word of mouth is the best advertising there is. A happy customer will tell one or a few people but an unhappy customer will tell everybody they can. So, always try your best to resolve customer issues in a manner that the customer finds palatable. And this doesn't even have to be the solution the customer really wants but just one they will be "not unhappy with". Everyone wins when you work with your customers; not against them.
