Thread: Aura's

    Aura's

I see that its possible to add Aura's and think this would be a wonderful addition to the program. I wonder if this feature will ever be added directly to the software? I know I am not great with software and would love to see it just download and work with the program. I see a person can get it on github. I am interested in what peoples thoughts are on this. I though I would also post a link that shows how it works.

Dunno what ruleset you use but the AD&D 2E ruleset has it.

It's already high on the wish list. Link in my signature.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

I'd be surprised if SmiteWorks wasn't already looking at it. It's by far the most "gotten" extension despite its 'rough edges' and the feature is incredibly popular on the wishlist Zacchaeus mentioned.

As the current maintainer of that extension, I would love it if they did implement it natively
I've voted for it on the wishlist and suggest you do the same, hunz.

Any news when this might be coming to the Pathfinder ruleset? It would be so helpful to have it native to fantasy grounds without needing a 3rd Party. I do hear great things about the add on but I tend to want to keep my software factory spec.

No. Until something is ready for user beta testing SmiteWorks doesn't (usually) announce what they are working on. It also seems that they tend to focus on things that do not have community extensions or can't be solved by the community. But, that's not always the case.

I will say the recent updates have all been around image architecture. Which might indicate that this is closer to being implemented natively. But then again, maybe it didn't make the cut.

I use the 5e Ruleset and Aura Effects along with Better Combat Effects for now. These work good for Auras like Spirit Guardians.

    3.5E, 4E, 5E, PFRPG, PFRPG2, and SFRPG rulesets

    If you want it done
    I can do it
    If I can't do it
    I will get it done
If I can't get it done
    You don't need it done
