    His screenshot indicates a Permission Denied error:

    DonPaulo: did you fix the permissions on the campaign folder, the one mentioned in the screenshot?

    Hello, the permissions were fully enabled when I checked

    I will continue to "roll back" and load the older db sessions

    If you still get the permission denied error then you'll still have issues with data not saving. Make sure, with any db....xml file loaded that you don't see any permission denied errors. If you do see permission denied errors, fix those first before you try using older db...xml files.

    my bad Andraax somehow completely missed that when i opened the image full.

    donpaulo you may have to edit your campaign.xml file so that it looks like this:

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
    <root version="3.3">
    	<ruleset>5E</ruleset>
    	<username>donpaulo</username>
    </root>

    Thanks Damned

    I checked as you suggested and its all correct on that front

    Still getting permission errors

    I'm sure I mucked it up somewhere copying files around I shouldn't have

    live and learn I reckon

    I certainly know a lot more about db session files as a result

    ok I figured out that I had NOT set the permissions properly. I was NOT doing it in the program files folder.
    I tweaked it and the program launched.

    I got a console popup which did not show a permission access error.
    Instead it informied me which extensions I was running. Not normal but still its Progress.
    The system then froze on me.

    I thought "ok the permission issue is solved so I will reload the program, take a screen shot to show ya'll what happened."
    Reloaded the program and got a permission access error again.
    Yay ?

    Went back and looked at the permissions in the proper place. CHECK
    Then took a look at the campaign xml file. CHECK

    I will now try to run it as Admin and see what happens then

    Ran as admin and have some permission error
