Problem with connecting from within Mcafee Firewall

Hi,
I have recently purchased FG and have been trying to test the connection when hosting a campaign. Initially I couldn't get it to work at all but after after some playing around I have got it to connect providing I have my McAfee Live Safe firewall switched off. However as soon as I switch it on I get a failure when I try and connect. I have posted about this on the Mcafee support Forum but not had a reply yet.
I was wondering if anyone here might be able to advise me.

Hey Sandman. If you haven't already, make sure you have set a rule in the Mcafee Firewall to allow fantasygrounds.exe and also make sure that your network is set to "private" and not "public".

Hi Gwydion,

thanks for the reply. I've set the network to private but I'm not sure where to set the rule as I've not had to set one before. I will keep looking.

One more thought. If you have Malwarebytes installed, there latest updated has caused a lot of connection issues with FG. Just google the forums and you will see it. If you want to have more of a real-time chat, feel free to jump in my discord channel. I have a little time now.

Yep thats fixed it. I had to set the rule to Open To All Devices.
I was in the right area but I hadn't tried all options as when I'm unsure what I'm doing I'm not really confident playing around.
