Hero Lab Export / Import

I didn't want to necro the sticky thread, I have no issues importing, but I was curious... should FG import data from classes that don't exist in the ruleset (say arcanist) without there being much issue (with a few hiccups) since it is grabbing data sections for the import. I mean it might stick it in the wrong section like Cavalier's Mount in feats or something, but leaving specific things completely out... is this normal?

It depends on whether Hero Lab has changed the output format of their XML, and how they are outputting the information you want to see. We haven't changed anything in our character converter utility in many months, and nothing major in years.

Can you provide an example character output from Hero Lab, as well as give us an idea of what's missing?

Features like Challenge, Tactician, etc. could be put in the abilities tab, but aren't... wasn't sure if it should be parsing it just in general so all types of chars from hero lab could be imported.
