Getting armor to apply to character

Ok i just started getting my players set up for my upcoming campaign...My question is this. How do you get characters Armor to apply for combat purposes? No matter what we do it isnt applying. I did purchase the Savage Worlds Ultimate edition and even the drag and drops are not applying??? Thank you in advance..

To the bottom left of the box that displays the players toughness there should be a small shield.
Click on it and it will display a list of armors. Click on the circle next to the armor and you’ll see it apply to their toughness.

Ok thanks for that.. now one more question. I am playing in Savage Rifts. And it has Mega Damage Armor. Normal Savage has Heavy Armor (same from what i understand) is there a way to make it count as heavy armor. Trying to get a dragon hatching character implemented? Also it is doubling his armor. when we apply it. Should be applying 16 but his overall toughness is going up to 44 it should be 28? is there a reason its doing that? thank you again.

yea his toughness is 12 6 normal =+6 for size, then 16 for natural scales. which should come to a total of 28, but it keeps jumping up to 44 for some reason?? any ideas on what might be causing that?

I cover Heavy armor in this video:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epT_4rmXPJ4
My players just defeated an army, had a dogfight with aliens, machine-gunned the zombies, stormed the tower, became Legendary and died heroically

Yours are still on combat round 6

It looks like his natural scales is being applied twice when you add it.

Yep... And no matter what we tried, we could not get it to not apply the armor twice?

Anyone got any clues to how to fix this?

Have you tried disabling any extensions (if any)?

I will have to check next time im online. I've also started watching the videos above. Looks like I'm switching to test.. Gotta say I'm excited to be trying Savage RIFTS.

I may be asking a lot of questions in the near future. I will report back later this evening on the armor issue.
