Thread: Module Problems

    Module Problems

Just want to confirm something I have seen happen:

I have broken up my campaign into manageable chunks with the module feature.

With regars to NPC entries, I noticed that if in the several modules the NPCs have the same node entry, such as <node name="00001"/>, that when you activate both the modules, one of the NPCs gets overwritten.

If you accidentally activate the two modules, it causes chaos with this, and causes FG to crash with a memory exception error.

    Can the devs confirm this?

    To replicate:

Create a few dummy entries in a campaign.
    Export to a module
Repeat the two previous steps a couple of times
Start a new campaign. (Make sure your campaign xml file is set up to accept the modules.)
Try to activate the two or more modules you have made.

Check the NPC entries. It looks like the ones are overwritten.

Anyone have a clue as to this?

Is this just with NPC's or does this include the images and encounter areas as well?

I've had FG for so LONG I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT!

    But I'm learning!

Sounds like FG should start taking advantage of XML namespaces, or something.
