    Targeting through the Combat Tracker

    Hi Folks,
In the 5E rule set, the DM is able to target a monster/character through the combat tracker but the players are not able to do this. Is there anyway to allow this from the Player's combat tracker screen. It only shows the Friendly and Status buttons. If not, I'm curious as to why this wouldn't be allowed in FG. Thanks as always!!

The Combat Tracker has been designed primarily as a GM tool.
The system has been designed for players to primarily interface through the Character Sheet and the Combat Map.

If you hold down control (CTRL) and left click either the enemy's combat tracker row, or the enemy's token on the map it will target it for you as a client (PLAYER).

on the CT you need the ctrl-click the enemy name rather than the token mini-picture on the CT.

CTRL-click on the portrait area of the CT is how the DM can also set targets.

In combat with many participants, while it may be relatively easy to select multiple targets on the map, I wish there was an easy way to clear all the targets at once. Targets can move or die and having a "clear all" shortcut would be a nice addition. Thanks, Zacchaeus for including the link to submit such ideas.

There is a clear targets button on the top of the map, and the DM has a clear targets button on the CT.

Note you have to activate the map menu to get the map buttons Zacchaeus is talking about - it does not turn on by default.
