Short Rest effect in 5e (PC)
Hello,
I'm goofing around with the recharge feature normally used with NPCs like dragon breath and so on.
I understand how it works but I wanted to know if there might be some way to call on a short rest via the effects.
In the end what I'm trying to accomplish is to tie the RCHG to a short rest, there are a few hidden effects in Fantasy Grounds so I'm hoping that a flag checker for short and long rests exists within the effects list.
Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how to check for short rest via the effects?

There is no mechanism for effects tied to short rests.
Usually, abilities tied to a short rest are set up on the PC actions tab with a refresh period of Rest. That way, the ability gets refreshed on a short rest.
