New class and other pathfinder coding
Someone suggested I post this forum:
I am currently wanting to create a new class and can't find any information on how Pathfinder is coded. For instance, what does base attack "fast, medium, or slow" do? what does fort, ref, and will save "good or bad" do? Seems like there is a good deal of documentation missing unless you run 5E. The class creation is just one thing, too. What if I want to create a new race or one that is not listed? Also, I'm sure there are many other things that are coded specifically a certain way for pathfinder. Where can I find documentation for Pathfinder Ruleset for Fantasy Grounds?

Just word things exactly as in the books and you should get out the most of the automation; or take the longer route and look into the code The other things Trenloe already answered you in the other thread
And do not worry about when a race or class does not automatically adjust some skill or so, in the worst situation you can still add skill modifiers of a racial bonus etc. manually Other than combat automation, class and race automation is just needed "once" (when applied at a level up for example; I am not speaking about combat abilities of course but that is combat automation, different subject), so, it does not really slow anything down when something there is not automated (and players may get a better feeling for their stuff when they had to code that themselves; though I can understand that more sheet automation would help new players in sense of accessibility )

I have found this to be more basic info and some of it outdated. For instance this page talks about tabs at the bottom of the story window which does not show on my pathfinder story window. Is this link a work in progress or is it supposed to be finished?

Closing this thread as this is being actively discussed here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...l=1#post500734
For everyone reading this - please don't post the same question multiple times on the forums. It leads to wasting the time of those trying to help you and also can cause confusion.
