Sue and I talked and agreed that we would wait on talking about Ptolus until at least Gen Con. Right now it is more a question of time management, as neither of us have the time at the moment due to other commitments -- which is why we decided to wait until the summer. In the meantime we're going to see how the AE ruleset sells and sort of take it from there.
In other words Illrigger, my answer is *not no* ... but rather *not now*.
Actually ... since you're a fan of Monte's work Illrigger, would you be interested in seeing an Iron Heroes Ruleset?

Oh wow. Now THAT would be cool.
Though it would probably cost $150!

I got a friend who'd probably love to see Iron Heroes done up (Never played it myself, but he says its great)
DM: For reference sake, when a bad guys dies, I'll turn their token over. So an upside down 'A' or 'B' means it's a corpse.
PC 1: So if we kill a 'M' is it reincarnated as a 'W'?
PC 2: That damn 'O' just won't die!

For those who haven't checked out Arcana Evolved yet I can highly recommend it. I bought the pdf version, just as an aside for a campaign I joined, but have found it to be a very well thought out and interesting product.
The character classes have quite a different feel to them and the magic system, while still very familiar, is more flexible than a rubber chicken:Spells can be minimised (cast with a spell slot 1 level lower than normal), heightened (1 slot higher) and laden (2 slots - combined with a talent to alter the spoell in numerous ways). The FG ruleset will be well worth the investment too.
You can even weave lower level spell slots together to power a higher level spell - no level 2 spells left. Just weave 3 0-level slots together, add another 2 1st-level slots and fire that lvl 2 spell away baby!
I've been helping the developers here and there (well, criticising the runes and generally being meddlesome ) and am very impressed with the huge wealth of information they have managed to pack into it.

I honestly haven't had time to look at Iron Heroes yet, Thore. It's on my agenda as soon as things lighten up a bit here at work (probably in the spring).
Great news on Ptolus, tho. Of course I didn't expect any more difinitive answer than what you said considering we're still several months out from release. All I can say is every new tool that becomes available for Ptolus just makes us drool over the majesty of it that much more. We'll have counters, and now PDF versions to carry with us; a FG campaign set done by you folks would be a big chunk of icing on that 600-page cake.

I will say this (to any listening), one of the deciding factors in Digital Adventures getting permission to do Arcana Evolved was fan feedback to myself and Malhavoc Press. There are two ways that you, the fan, can make an impact to get Iron Heroes and Ptolus (and any other campaign for that matter) into Fantasy Grounds:
1) Petition Digital Adventures (I like to pretend I know everyone in the publishing world, but if I don't I may know someone that does) to contact your favorite publisher.
2) Contact your favorite publisher yourself and let them know of your interest to bring their product to Fantasy Grounds (and, of course, mention my name ::wink: )
Many publishers out there may not have even heard of FG yet, or at the very least have seen a banner or two for it but never checked it out since everyone in this biz is extremely busy. While online gaming has been around for many years in one form or another (from IRC to OpenRPG), only with the coming of Fantasy Grounds do people like myself feel that online gaming has finally turned the corner and can be a valid medium for the traditional publisher.
So Illrigger, in all honesty whether or not something like Ptolus makes it to Fantasy Grounds is partly up to the FG community.
No pressure ...
