    Bolt on Module or Ruleset?

    Hello folks,

I am thinking of making an addon to the 3.5e D'n'D rules that adds my WWII material to the 3.5 system as a kind of "bolt on" module with extra feats, skills, classes, equipment data cards, etc. I was wondering if I should just make this as a normal module since it is going to be an addon to the 3.5 ruleset.

Or if there is a better (simpler) way to do this?

If it's just setting-specific fluff that isn't changing the rules themselves, a module is all that is needed for feats, classes, equipment, etc. However, I think the ruleset auto-applies the 3.5 skills to the character sheet so if you're changing skills you'd need an extension to alter that behavior with your new skills.

I might be adding a few extra skills, have to check.
