Automatic roll to table
Hello!
The subject might have already been discussed in another thread but could not find it..
Can I link an automatic roll on a table on an attack roll. Exemple: If atk roll with this weapon is XX or higher, then roll on the table XXX?
The exact same functionality as the Crit/Fumble tables, but specific to one attack line and with customizable input triggers and results.
Thanks for your help!Last edited by Glad; May 25th, 2017 at 11:15. Reason: Adding more details to the question

I don't know. It might be doable with an extension but it isn't possible within FG itself. What kind of thing is that you want to do? (Since there may be an easier solution).
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Was trying to give special magical weapons to my players.
Basic idea would be: on any atk roll of XX or more (say 17 for expl), a random effect is created. I already created the effects (which are basically some spells..) in a table for each weapon.
Just would like to possibly avoid the manual process of 1) check the condition <= 17 is verified 2) Roll manually on the table. And have the roll on the correct linked table automatically performed under a given condition.

Ah, ok. No there isn't a way to do that within FG. You would need an extension. You might be able to alter the fumbles and criticals table thing - I don't use that so I'm not sure but it certainly works automatically when the module is installed/ All you'd need to do would be to change the weapon critical hit range to 17+, although that might not be so good either if you don't want critical hits in that range.
