Unless you are going to be hosting a game (as DM) then you don't need to worry about port forwarding.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Note: You only have to do this if you are hosting the game and players are connecting from outside your home network.

How to Add a Port Forward
    • Visit xfinity.com/myxFi or open the Xfinity xFi app and sign in with your Xfinity username and password.
    • Select Network from the Overview section.
    • Select Advanced Settings under More Options.
    • Select Port Forwarding from the menu.
    • Select Add Port Forward.
Note: If you've previously set up a port forward from your Gateway's Admin Tool (https://10.0.0.1), you should see it listed in the Port Forwarding Settings.
    • Choose the household device for the port forward you are setting up from the drop-down list of connected devices. It should match 10.0.0.47
Note: If you don't see the device listed, it may not be connected to your home network.
    • Select Manual Setup to enter specific port numbers, ranges and/or protocols. Enter port TCP 1802. All numbers should be 1802.
    • Select Apply Changes to complete the setup of the port forward.
    • The device you set up for this port forward can now use these settings.

Note: If you are unsure what port settings to choose, reference the device manual or the application you are trying to use. Opening unnecessary ports is not recommended, as it may pose a security risk.
Thanks. Yeah, sorted out getting to Xfinity site and logging in. They had an option to enable Port Forwarding so followed that link. Had to put Port 1802 into two spots (I have two wireless networks). They had TCP/UDP defaulted, so I changed those to TCP. Went to FG app and ran connection test again. Came back SUCCESS. So, it appears I sorted it. On hold with Comcast now to determine if I have it correct and to sort out the damned password for my modem.

Onward and upward to the next bug, hurdle!
