Curiosity only
Have the dev ever expressed, why printing was not added go the project? FG has so many really awesome features and it seems odd that a print option is not included. Have they ever talked about a paid add on, that could be developed for that purpose.
I see the community make some for 5e, but I would think some thing a little more generic would be useful.
Just curious.

There is a universal character sheet printer - it does require you to write a transform for the ruleset you are printing. To date very few people have done so...

Oh that sounds interesting. Where would I find that? Would the complexity of the transforms be why, it is not baked in to FG?

Printing was never an initial feature because FG is designed to facilitate online play - it was not envisioned as a local game play aide.
Since many things are now licensed the platform has become a great aide for local play but there is no simple way to print from the current game engine.
