    That's true, SWD is also a $10 ruleset and it has an insane amount of scripting behind it, second only to 5E, and is about to get more thanks to Ikael.

    I'd be happy if JPG would copy/paste the spellcasting stuff out of the 3.5E and into C&C so we could at least setup the magic stuff.

    It's undoubtedly a little more complicated than that.
    DMing since 1979. Ultimate License holder.

    Currently GMing:
    * Yggsburgh and Castle Zagyg - Castles and Crusades Greyhawk (Mon/Fri - on hiatus)
    * Temple of Elemental Evil - Castles and Crusades Greyhawk (Thursday - on hiatus)
    * 2e Greyhawk (Wednesday)

    Thanks for 7+ years of gaming via FG my friends (2e / 3.5e / Rolemaster Classic / Castles & Crusades / Pathfinder / Savage Worlds / 5e).

    There/Their/They're are all different words and do not mean the same thing.

    Should or could [melee] or [range] be added to an attack so it uses the correct attribute.

    NPCs don't have attributes. Add the modifier into the attack - "Shortsword +2 (1d6+2)" for example.

    I meant for the PCs. we play inperson but use the combat tracker. I am having trouble changing the ability for an attack roll.

    The system is designed for PCs to make attacks off their character sheets, not from the CT.

    If you're not using the character sheets for play, then just create them as NPCs.
