Why can't i create a Eldritch Knight Fighter? Please help

i am trying to create a character but limited to only ONE class specialization. so a fighter can only be a champion ect,ect,ect?

Hello cheetah17,

The SRD data packs that WOTC allows us to include with the base software only includes a single option for each class and race. You can just select the champion and then edit where it says Champion and modify it to say Eldritch Knight. Anything beyond that and you will have to manually add the new abilities as you get them. When you need to add a new ability, just create a new blank entry in the appropriate section of your character sheet and give it the proper name. You can add in the description as well so you can reference during the game. The SRD includes most of the spells, so you can create a new spellcasting class once you get spells and drag the spells over as you acquire them.

The Fighter Class Pack has the full fighter class options and the Complete Core Class Pack has the entire contents of the PHB -- all races, classes and everything else preloaded. These are nice to have but not needed.

Thx a lot for replying!!! i am having problems creating a charter, i rolled, & selected race class ect but then when all done there is nothing else to click on to continue the char generation.
theres no OK, continue,enter or any other button to click on, so dam stuck on the only page with a bunch one windows open for each selection i chose. Thx!!!

The chat window should show everything that was added to your character so far. Now just look at the various tabs on your sheet as if it was a paper sheet. Add or modify the rest of the content.

k thx again!!! i'll look at your link. There no char sheet anywhere just 3 options up top where i click on manage chars, log,roll,points.

Id' really recommend you look at the linked user guide and also watch some of the videos in the Wiki. So you need to be familiar with the character creation process.
