Quick Reference Decal
So, inspired by Fitz's 5E DM Screen, I've put together a graphic of reference type info to be used as a desktop decal for FG.
Currently this includes 9 different decals that have different looks to match various themes. Variants B and D have slightly less information on them to facilitate larger fonts.
Due to the number of graphics, this is too large to upload here. File has been shared on Google Drive;
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...zj?usp=sharing
I have also uploaded the Power Point files as well, so if anyone wants they can edit these to their heart's content. And if you come up with something better, we would all appreciate it if you shared!

Thanks Trenloe!
It now works, sort of... Power Point might not have saved the transparency, so I need to fix that. And size is not good.
A few questions;
- What is an optimal maximum size for the decal?
- Is there a way to get the decal to scale? That way depending upon Screen resolution etc?
- I noticed some strings that appear to put the decals in order of selection ("option_val_DDCL_custom2" and similar), would it be a good idea to use something like 21 & 22 so these don't conflict with other extensions?

I guess you can make the decal whatever size you want, but I think you may have problems with it disappearing behind the chat box. It might be better to do it as a background image and leave a gap to the left.
I love the reference graphic by the way. Can I use it as a sharable image in my sessions please?Ultimate License Holder - My games are free to play

Yeah, if you're willing to share whatever version you end up using (that one you linked looked very useful), I'd love it in an extension form or whatever as well. Very awesome, and a great idea.

What's the difference between a decal and a background image? I think the decal overlays the desktop image/texture, but would a background image scale?
Sure you can use it. I will post it as an extension in a bit, and with several different images and such. You might like one of those better.

Ok, here it is as an extension. The code works, but the graphics currently suck. Tried using Gimp to set the background transparency, but didn't work out. Can someone look at the images and let me know what I did wrong?
Note, the extension includes 4 images. 2 are the original ratio as the one I posted above, 2 are at a new ratio with an empty left side which seems to position things pretty good. 3 have transparency, but look horrible.

Yeah, it all seems to be working fine, just need to mess about with the final images. QR-B seems the easiest to read, but could do with being squared like QR-C as it gets hidden by the chat box (for the layout I use at least). It might be better to not use transparency and have an opaque backdrop as it makes it easier to read.

Hi LordEntrails
the Decal does do some auto-scaling but the desktop background does not.
Unfortunately the scaling affects the legibility of the text.
The transparent images probably dont work that well full stop - not because of the app that you have used to make them.
With this amount of data you *may* be better off putting it into one or more story entries and sharing those (or sharing a module containing these entries) - it might work better for you and there would be less scaling/legibility issues. Just a thought.Ruleset Projects

Or you might just want to make it an image you can share since you can guarantee the size and therefore the scale of the lettering.
