Easy to make adventures
FINALLY had some free time so started messing with Fantasy Ground again.
Just discovered how easy it is to do up adventures in Fantasy Ground. Did a conversion of Goodman's Games: Idylls of the Rat King.
If you have a PDF of a premade adventure (this goes for all those mini-adventures on the Wizards site, too), it's as easy as "cut-paste-minor edits", Rinse, Lather, Repeat.

I know of a few publishers that would be very much against this, while I think some might now care. In the end it may be best to get permission to do something like this first.
I would be interested to know what the FG staff's opinion is on this. I know that parts of the licensing of FG allow for people/publishers to distribute adventures and campaigns, but that does not include unauthorized use of copyrighted material ... right?

Re: Easy to make adventures
Technically isn't that a copyright violation of Goodman's (or any other publishers) product?
No, it's not. I at no time even whispered an offer to distribute what I'm doing. I own the product. I'm using the product I own for personal use.
As I said, I would hate for FG to get a black eye in that respect. I would hate for a great product like FG be dragged into the mud over such issues. Legally they are not liable, but you hate to see that sort of stuff. With all of the P2P/PDF illegal scanning of products out there, it would be a shame if something like this happened with FG as the mechanism.
