Question: Does FG support animate GIF tokens?

I am curious to know if FG will display animated GIF tokens. Does anyone know if this is possible? It would be way cool.

I don't know, I think it would get a bit annoying watching the character do the same action over and over again. Animated game characters are interesting because they perform multiple different actions, while an animated gif for example could only play through a set of frames and then stop or repeat.

yes but animated fire water and trees would be awesome.

That could be good, but animated GIF's could look ugly as pixel transparency is ether 100% or 0% unlike a PNG with could be 50% or 10%, or whatever. But that would be something the art creator has to keep in mind.
