NPC Spellcasters (parsed content)

Is there an elegant way to handle NPC spell casting with parsed content? Since the rule set doesn't yet allow you to specify the caster level and spell save DC I'm curious as to whether someone came up with a novel workaround.

For really important fights I set up actions for the NPC and drap/drop the spell descriptions into the action. I then manually add the spell DC and type and do anything else that is required so that as much automation can take place as possible. Otherwise I just wing it
