Woke up this morning and one of the players had sent me this in my inbox.
"Just wanted to thank you for running this. It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the overall uniqueness of the system. Do you use it for longer games? It was perfect for a one shot, but might be a bit lethal for a regular game. Lots of fun, great tension, just a great experience! "
Just put a smile on my dial and makes FG Con worth all the effort put in as a GM. Share the love guys.
Also thanks to my players, was a great game and playing with stars of a show gives a unique feeling when playing even as a GM, it was fun. When Daryl got taken out, it was funny hearing that there would be an uproar from the fan base bringing him back if he dies.
The game I had with Ian Ward in Shadowrun, was top fun and I didn't want to stop, even though 4 hours flew by. So thanks for the game IanLast edited by Ardem; April 19th, 2015 at 23:37.

Guys,
Just completed my last and final GM session. I had a blast this time again, and I am already looking forward to the next one. I want to thank the guys at Smite Works and all the volunteers who made this happen.
Good job guys, and thanks for letting me be a part of it!!

You now what would be cool, is if this forum supported badges, and we could get badges of what Cons we were at or if we were players or GMs or something. Using BGG as the example.

Thank you to all!
Most especially to the GMs who put in so much time and effort - prepping games, running games, managing players etc.
And also to the players for bringing their imagination, their wit and their devious cunning!

This is feedback I got from players that participated in my games. One for each.
"Just wanted to thank you for the game last night. I went for something different with my character choice and I had a lot of fun, although I was a bit out of my element with the second part, the 2015 woods fun run, I got to contribute with my mad pc skills in the first part and I had a really good time. First time playing Savage Worlds as well, although it was sometimes a challenge with throwing bennies to get same rolls, I really enjoyed the system and hope to play SW again."
"This was so much fun! I literally dreamt about the game all night."

Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!

I found FG Con fun both as a player and GM. As a GM, my players did give me some nice compliments afterwards and we had a long 5e conversation following the game . Two of them said they were picking up full ultimate licences.
As a player, it's a great way to test out different games that you haven't played. For me, my goal is to try out two different games other than 5e, which is my main game. I found that I'm really interested in pursuing one of them, and the other just isn't for me, and that's what's great, find out what peeks your interest. Really cool how many different games are available. Next time I will try out two different games and hopefully keep diversifying my favorite hobby.Last edited by jh79; April 21st, 2015 at 09:15.

Agreed - I get to spend one day a year at a Real Life Con and I try to grab 2 games at each FG Con - as much as possible I like to try something I havent tried before or dont play regularly.
It doesnt matter to me too much if it turns out I dont like the ruleset or the game goes awry - its all good experience - and I definitely learn lots as a player to help me GM.
