Channel & Special Abilities & a question

Is there a way to get Channeling onto the abilities tab. Bottom line trying to make it where it healing affect automatically raises health of wounded on the combat tracker. I appreciate any advice.

Also, for targeting, we are currently having to draw a box around our target (ally or enemy), is there a way to target and just click on the person? Again a rookie, but we are picking it up quickly.
