CheckDeviceType Error code 16
Yo guys, i get that error (in the thread Title) when i try to launch my fantasy Ground 2. Then i Click ok, and i get "Could not initialize graphics system" (with the title in the error little window Directx). I already downloaded the latest directx from the microsoft websyte, and updated my graphic drivers, but i get the same error anyways.

what video card do you have?
what operating system are you running?

Nvidia geforce gt520M cuda 1gb, Windows 7.

I got something similar after a couple of recent updates to windows and some software. A reboot fixed it for me.

Tried to reboot, multiple times, but i keep getting it.

From looking at the CheckDeviceType function online, this error will only occur if your graphics card does not support hardware rasterization or back buffers.
I'm guessing that you are trying to run FG on a netbook or compact laptop of some kind, that has reduced graphics capability.
