I'm always in favour of the slow build TPK with the false sense of hope. Gives the DM some entertainment too, which is important.

Oh, mandatory! Just as long as you can only disable it for each session. Each time you start FG new, it has to be required to be there to "help out!"

Clippy!!!! Now, how do I make him go away, lol. As I'm not a newbie. Seriously though, think it's a great idea for new people. Maybe make him a kobold instead of a paper clip though.
