Character sheet

On the player character sheet, Main tab, on the Attributes, I can see Score, Bonus, and then there's a little + symbol in the upper right corner.

I know how to populate that little + sign by going into the XML file, but is there some way to do it inside FG?

Also, what is it used for?

When I roll a dice that has a +value in the upper right corner, it doesn't appear to apply that + to my roll.

The main reason I'm asking is mostly because I'm trying to figure out how to designate the +2 for a secondary trait for a Half-Elf with Human lineage.

The little circle bonus can be edited by using the mouse wheel (plus the CTRL key). It is there to allow a miscellaneous or temporary bonus to an ability bonus. The circled number is already included in the bonus value shown, so it is included in the roll. This is probably the easiest way to do the Half-Elf with Human lineage option.
