Nice wintery texture?
At the FG Con in two weeks, I will be hosting a trilogy of Pathfinder Society scenarios happening in the far north of the world. I'm looking for a nice wintery texture as desktop background, but whatever I have found so far doesn't look so great. Anyone knows any link to images that would do well? (I don't mind buying the rights if the picture is not public-domain.)
Thanks.

I get great backgrounds when I enter "ice", "snow" or "winter" in Google images. For example:

Thanks to both of you for these links - they are very nice!
Unfortunately, they cannot be used as desktop background. I'm afraid I wasn't specific enough: FG's background is a 512x512 texture that is tiled multiple times to fill the window (or screen if running maximized). So the image has to be something that "repeats well", and since I'm not, by any stretch of the imagination, an artist, my abilities to create such a texture from an image are limited.

Then search for "snow texture", for example

;-) You'd have to resize of course.

I see what you mean. Tiles are much harder to get. I'll look around.

I used to have a bunch of tiles in my company art folder. Can't find them anymore though. But this should work for you:

The other trick i use to find art assets...find a image that is close to what you want..then drag that into google image search!
i find sci-fi assets a pain to find...this trick has found me similar battlemaps that regular keywords did not!~Grimm182~ (GMT-8)/WA

You need to do a search for mapping "tiles" or similar. Here is an example of lots of ice type tiles: https://www.imarvintpa.com/Mapping/Tiles/Ice/ Most of them are smaller than 512x512 so you may need to combine 4 together and then resize.
