Question on what a player needs to play.
I'm a little confused, I know to play I need the Fantasy Grounds program but if I wanted to play in a Savage Worlds setting do I also need the 'Savage Worlds Deluxe Ruleset v3.3.1' that costs $15? Then if I want to play in Slipstream do I need to buy 'Savage Worlds Setting: Slipstream' that costs $20? Or does the DM just need to buy these and allow players to make characters with it in his game?
The reason I ask is I already own the rules and Slipstream books through PDF. Are these add-ons just for reference or do I need them to play a Slipstream session as a player?Last edited by exodous; February 15th, 2013 at 16:04.

only the Gamemaster (the one who hosts and GMs the game) needs to have the ruleset and modules. Players don't have to worry about these in most cases.
