Smoothed bonuses
Hi,
there is an extension to simulate the smoothed stat bonuses of RMC1?
Thanks

Not that I know of. If there is, I would like to have it too .
I don't think its a thing there is much focus on at the moment as we all wait impatiently for RMU to be released.

I dont have Companinion here right now so I might get the bonuses wrong but..
After thinking on this a bit, I realized that you could just add the difference manually. Meaning, if you have a stat like 93. That will give 10 to bonus in the ore rules but 13 in the smooth stat bonus, just add 3 on the SPEC column. That must be the easiest workaround at this time I think.

Thanks. It should be the easiest way to do that. If someone has time or knowledge to create such extension the RM community will surely be greatly glad :-)

Implementation of smoothed bonuses (and the Companion I in general) is on the to do list for the ruleset, so your prayer to the Gods of Rolemaster have been heard. Any other ideas can be added to the list and voted on:

I have done some initial testing of implementing Rolemaster Companion 1 including the smooth bonuses. It looks very feasible but I have other things using up my time right now. Sorry about that.

I had the same question sometime back and got some great support.
This is one of the items that was meant to be edited, hence it was easy.
Included in about the fourth post down is a zip file you can d/l and install.

I made 2 extension for linear and smooth stat progression. They require RMC v1.4. You can get them here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...ad.php?t=18058
