Oooh if X-Comm is available for Mac on Steam that would be great. Is it as good as the original - I know the game has taken on some new approach so am very curious.

    No, it won't.

There has been several remakes of x-com, but non very succesful. There WILL be a new one very soon. Looks promising. I have been following this game for quite some time now. Its one of the games I have promised myself Im gonna buy broke or not .
This time its made by Firaxis and you can see it here https://www.xcom.com/enemyunknown/

You CAN get the whole x-com package for 15 euro on Steam (the old ones, x-com, terror from the deep, apocalypse, enforcer and interceptor). https://store.steampowered.com/sub/964/

No. You may not be able to use certain features provided within Steam, but the plan would be to keep the software fully functional away from Steam as well.

Bit of a derail, but have you tried UFO Afterlight? I thought that was pretty close to XCom. Terror from the Deep was my favorite of the batch, but I was impressed with UFO Afterlight.

Great to hear. I don't really care about any "steam only features" as long as the current funtionality remains, and they continue to add non-steam features.

Ofc . I liked them actually, though many apprently didnt. I couldn't remember the names of them last night (there were more... Aftermatch, Aftershock and Afterlight, in that order as I recall). Played them all . My first was Terror from the deep, so I too like that the most .

Wow, some mis-information on Steam that FG costs $140.

    Real issues with FG

This would be aswome if that means that you actually do tech support. Have been trying to get logged in now for 2 weeks and it is not working. Every time we try to test the server, we get Failure. what is the deal. Can somone please tell me why we cannot connect. Up until 2 weeks ago we had not problems. Now nothing works. Really agrivating when you have been gaming for years using FG and now you cant even get to the server.
