as a note my fellow player knew what happened to me and did not update and he got in just fine

Failure to resolve is more likely a DNS issue.
The server IP address is: 199.204.184.179
I am running the latest client and connected ok. Please try reboot and/or try IP above.

having same issue trying to use 'ts.fg-con.com. used the IP above and able to get in

I was having the same problem when I updated, but when I logged in to my own server, it stated the server was deprecated, and to contact host. I did so and they fixed the issue. Not sure if that may be the problem.

Those having the cant resolve issue could you retry with the name and let me know?

Its working. I can login just fine now. Couldn't a few days ago.

Is there a process for getting added to a server group or increasing the codec quality of a channel?

I think I already increased the Audio Codec for everyone by default...
