Looking for a map
The next session in my game will start with an encounter at a river ford crossing. There's supposed to be old ruins beside the ford, but that's optional. Have you guys come across a good map for such an encounter?

Possibilities
I did some browsing for you. These looked like some fair possibilities for what you've described. Download the largest image file, it'll show up geat in FG and they never take very long to load.

The last link fits the ruin idea pretty good, but the river on the map is a bit small. You should take the time to browse the full selection on that site. You won't be dissapointed with what you find.

This one isn't a ford, but it does have a river and some things in it that can pass as ruins.
The image is the smaller thumbnail of the original picture. If you like it, then you should grab the much larger one here:

Here's one more. Its plain and fits the river crossing you wanted. No ruins, though.
The full sized image is found here:

When I posted, I was thinking it was a long shot, but perhaps someone had such a map... I'm impressed and very grateful that you went to look for maps! Thanks, that's very cool of you!

It was no problem, and you're most welcome. Glad to be of help. I know how frustrating it can be at times to find a good map, or the right tokens.
