I haven't yet figured out how to import a character from GCA4 yet. Any tips or a tutorial?

EDIT: To remove misleading info (subsequently pointed out by Herodian below).

FYI - The /exportchar and /importchar slash commands now supported in this release are for exporting characters already in FG (and importing previously exported FG characters).

Oh, there totally is a tool for this. Works great! I got it from Spyke's page:

Look for "Fantasy Grounds Export Filter for GCA" which you use to produce a text file of your GCA character, and "Utility to Import Characters" is the tool you use to insert those files into your campaigns. Works like a champ.

Brilliant! I didn't even know that existed - thanks so much for the heads-up.

you want to make sure you get the updated filter from

you want to also get ruiens GCA to NPC tool as well as you will not need to edit for the npc rolling features
