That's a big call, but I'm willing to pay it.

It really is very impressive, Pyro. For the first time I feel confident of creating a battlemap on the fly, during play. That's very liberating. A major breakthrough for online play.

OMFG, I just had a brilliant idea that Pyro would probably never agree to.

Coming from a .Net programmatic background, I know you can embed Flash apps within a .Net app as an embedded resource...I assume the same is true in Java (or whatever FG2 is coded in). Wouldn't it be ******* AWESOME if this Flash swf was within a shareable FG2 window???

I think FGII is coded in plain C++
My players just defeated an army, had a dogfight with aliens, machine-gunned the zombies, stormed the tower, became Legendary and died heroically

Yours are still on combat round 6

I like this well enough to sticky it. Great work!

This is a very easy to use tool. In just a few minutes I was able to see how this would be very helpful in creating tactical maps. Thank you!

@pyro: This is turning out to be a great time saving map tool. Keep up the god work pyro.

    A few requests:

    - Line tool - Can we a polyline option for drawing lines. Creating manual line drawings of any reasonable size creates a gazillion layers (one for each line segment).
    - Insert Image - Can we have the ability to insert multiple images in one go or better yet load our own tile sets.
    - Insert Image - Can we have the ability to rotate inserted images.
    - Insert Image - Can we have the ability to tile rectangle selections using our inserted images. Essentially it would be nice to have the same tools for inserted images as we do with the stock included tiles.

EDIT: Actually, thinking about it, if your interested, I don't mind contributing some tiles. Take a look a look at my latest attempt at the old blue style D&D maps here. If your interested in using them for the tool, let me know.

Tool for user image collections in a process,
you'll be able to create loadable collection, to use it like native.

DrZeuss, blue tileset is cool and big,
please slice it and post to me, I' ll add it to default collections.

@Pyro: Great. Look forward to playing with the new release.

With regards to the tile set, I already have the symbols sliced an diced into two sets (Black/Blue). Each set uses .png files at either 50x50px or 50x100px.

PM me your email address and I'll email over a ZIP containing both sets.

hi pyro - a suggestion you may want to think about if its not too difficult is aligning/snapping objects to the centre of a cell/grid as well as the corners of grid/cells.
this app is pretty darn easy to use which is why its so cool.
    keep up the good work.
