Parser question
hey,
i am trying to get my head around the parser
I am following the tutorial located here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...ad.php?t=11322
and i keep getting an error message
here is screen shot (i put the "XXXX" where my name was)
it appears to be hanging on the items
I am running Ver 4.0.118.0, which is the latest on i could find.
I think there is at least a 4.0.2.00 but i cant find it could some one point me in the right direction
I am going to attempt to parse the PHB3, and see what happens
thanks

Someone else said it was hanging on items. Are you scraping from the compendium (getting the data) or actually parsing the data after the scrape?

it was still scraping at that point
I think I heard that WOTC was making some changes to how items were handled (common, uncommon, ect) perhaps the scraper is broken
I was able to scrape everything but the Items by setting the items section to "no" and i got a working module after parsing (w/o items of course)
I am still running parser ver 4.0.118, i cant seem to find a more recent version, if you have one please pass it allong

It's likely. Everytime WotC makes a change to the DDI data base there is potential to break the scraper. Tenian seems to had real life interfere with his updating of the 4E parser and as time goes on it gets farther and out of sync with the data base.
I can't read the text of your image. Does the scraper give an error at all?

smae issue here
Items break the parser. I have just been toggling Items from Yes to a No and it scrapes just fine. I have not been able to find the latest version either.
