still looking for a chance to play. any advice what ruleset is best to learn for D&D? 3.5? 4? i'm hoping to eventually join/organize a game of traveller or star wars. looks like there's no gamma world available.

Castles & Crusades is intended to capture the feel of earlier versions of D&D but with improved game mechanics. Gary Gygax worked with these guys a lot before he died.
