4E Parser: Catalog Mode?

Can someone give me a quick overview of what the catalog mode is all about? Thanks in advance, this is all very new to me.

Catalog mode effectively allows you to build a single master module containing PC powers from ALL of your existing power splat modules (e.g. PHB, PHB2, Arcane Power, Martial Power etc. etc.)

It works by scanning your modules folder looking for 4E modules which contain PC powers, it then copies any found into a new singe module called 4E Catalog.mod.

This is a handy feature for when creating new PCs or levelling up as all the powers can be referenced from the Catalog and thus saves you having to open up multiple modules.

The Catalog is also used by Eugenez's DDI CB Importer tool to ensure imported DDI CB PCs have linked powers rather than just the names of the powers.
