4E assassin's Shroud
How assassin's shroud works is you place it on a target and it stacks, so I was wondering if there is a way to mark how many shrouds are on a target. Right now I am just using a paper beside me to mark how many are on the current target and made an effect that says Shroud that I can place on the target. there is only 2 problems with this; 1 the gm can not see how many shrouds are on the target, 2 once i use the shrouds there is no way for me to clear the effect. If someone can think of a work around to help with these that would be great.
Code:Assassin's Shroud Effect: You subject the target to your shroud. If any of your shrouds are already on the target, you subject it to an additional shroud, up to a maximum of four. The shrouds last until you use this power against a different enemy or until the end of the encounter. Before you make an attack roll against the target, you choose to invoke either all your shrouds on it or none of them. If you invoke your shrouds, the attack deals 1d6 damage per shroud, minus one shroud if the attack misses, and all your shrouds then vanish from the target. This damage roll never benefits from bonuses to damage rolls, and is in addition to the attack’s damage, if any.

I would probably make four effects under a situational power that read:
Shrouded: 1
Shrouded: 2
Shrouded: 3
Shrouded: 4
I would set all of them to "End N" so that they automatically fall off the target at the end of your next turn. This way, you either apply the next increment of your shroud, or you use the shrouds. A GM would only have to manually remove it if you applied and used it in the same round.
For even better automation, have two sets of the effects under two different situationals. One power that is "Shroud: Incremental" where each effect ends at the end of your next turn because you intend to increment them on your next turn, and another that is "Shroud: Invoking" where each effect ends at the end of your current turn for when you intend to invoke the shrouds before the end of your turn.
Hopefully that makes sense, but that's my two cents!FGU Ultimate License/FGC Standard
