Hunter's quarry

There is a ranger paragon path feature (battlefield archer)that gives +1 to hit quarry targets. As such we built the ranger an effect that reads:

TRGT*Ranger*; DEF: -1; Hunters quarry

And it appears to be giving everyone who attacks the target +1 to hit not just the ranger any ideas where I messed up?

Did you actually use the targeting button to target the effect to the ranger, or you just typed in the text for TRGT? If so, TRGT is just an informational tag, and you actually have to target the ranger with the effect after the effect is applied.

Also, a targeted defense effect should only show up in the hit result line showing [EFFECTS -1] when indicating whether an attack hit or not.

Let me know if I didn't understand right.

I typed it in. I thought I could cheat it that way. Actually doing the targeting will take a lot more clicks. I will edit my deva racial effect also then.
