Excited new player looking to spectate

I am a long time D&Der and was hoping to be able to sit in on a game, 3.5 would be great, but I would happily watch any gaming system. I would like to learn how to use the program first hand, and would happily invite anyone kind enough to let me observe to games I will run eventually.
