How do I add new traits?

I added the "3rd Gen Synth" to Origins but they should have the machine/robot traits for being immune to poison and radiation and I don't see any information in the guides on how to add traits to new Origins. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Currently the PCs don't automatically add these effects when dropped into the combat tracker. It's on the schedule when the ruleset can be expanded to make this automated. Till that can happen, you can create custom effects with these effects and apply to the PC in question when they are in the combat tracker to have the functionality of those immunities.

So in the effects menu, just make a new entry and add IMMUNE: <dmg> with <Radiation> or <Poison> in brackets, right?

And making a custom cover effect would be: COVER: # <loc> with the # being 1 to 3 and the location would be written like this <Head, Left Arm, Right Arm, Left Leg, Right Leg, Torso>

Am I close?

Ex:

IMMUNE: radiation; IMMUNE: poison

Ex2:

COVER: 2 head,right arm

Keep them lower case.
