I remember playing the original Gamma World with my brothers a long time ago. I know they came out with an updated version since then but haven't played it. Have you thought about converting Gamma World to Fantasy Grounds?

Most of the older or niche rule systems are created by the community.
That said, in most cases a dedicated rule set is not required to play any system. Almost any game can be played just using the default CoreRPG Ruleset. If you want custom die rolls and a more configurable character sheet, you can load and use the community MoreCore Ruleset.
Jump in, use Core or MC, both work great and lead to a great time.
