I have many image windows open and I want to remove the huge frames that FG gives to all of them. I've seen it done, but I don't know how... Please help.

What ruleset is that? Frames are generally a function of the theme you are using so it maybe depends on the theme.
Oh it's 7e Call of Cthulhu
There's no automatic way to shrink borders, as they are tied to the ruleset theme, or any theme extensions you are using. You could try some of the other theme extensions from the FG launch screen, to see if the overall theme/effect is what you want.
