I think it is in the pipeline for 5e. Not too sure about for other systems.
One of us was assigned to it about a year-ish ago. I won't name him unless he wants to pipe in himself. Bottom line is very, very large projects like this, especially those with a lot of NPC data to build, can create a high ratio of burnout for some DLC Developers, myself included. Frog God wanted the 5E edition done first, followed immediately by the Pathfinder edition. Pathfinder NPCs are downright miserable for me personally, to the point I've pretty much stopped accepting any Pathfinder projects that have NPCs in them.
With RA is that he got to a point he felt he would never manage to actually finish it because it's such a large project. We all have real jobs and real lives; this is something we do in our spare time. So, for now, it's back off the table for him. Any other developer is probably welcome to pick up where he left off.
Edit: I was unaware until I just asked, but due to being large projects, the Pathfinder edition was shifted to a different dev; I have no clue who or if it's still being worked on. But the 5E edition is shelved by the current dev.
I will add a note about such large projects myself (since I have been re-developing Undermountain for 5E). RA is similar in size to Undermountain (the classic UM, not the DoMM brief version). And, conversion is different that development or re-development. But I will tell you that such a project is thousands of work-hours. Doing it alone makes it even tougher than just putting in the hours.
Ok Thanks for the info! I delved a bit deeper and found some information!
Once you convert it will it be available for purchase on FantasyGrounds?
Yes it will.
Awesome. Thanks, I’ll be looking forward to it.
